Quick Update

Even though it seems like I just posted an update three hours ago, it looks like it was closer to six weeks. In any event the album is coming along very nicely. All music has been recorded, included double tracked solos. Bear in mind, I have a tough enough time playing a solo once correctly much less twice. But after the good results on the “Don’t Let Me Go” demo, I figured, why not try it again and find yet another way to grind this album to a complete halt?

But it’s not important, because the music is complete. That leaves what I’m hoping is the far, far easier task of vocals and then only the terrible, terrible task of mixdown. I can say this: it’s shaping up to be an excellent album, and several times when listening back, I wonder how I ever wrote some of this material, it just plain sounds too good.
